Expected these to be made from very soft metal which would dull quickly. In reality, they are comparable to the high dollar blades which I normally purchase.

I purchased two of these to replace the mowing blades on my craftsman 42 inch cut mower. They are an exact fit and cost less than oem or other brands. They seem to be pretty durable and for the price you cant go wrong.

I live in the hills of rocky New England, on a slope hiding monstrous blade-eating rocks just waiting to claim mower blades. When my expensive Home Depot blade got mugged and was bent almost 90 degrees, I ordered a replacement from this company for close to four times less, and it arrived quickly. First time out and %&$#! A rock nailed it good and wouldn't you know? The blade survived and spins on into the future. I really have to get off my rear and scout this property more often. Ahem. The blade is very effective and well worth the money. I'm going to be ordering replacements very soon, to keep handy. This is simply one of the best low-priced deals on the net!

I ordered the "Rotary Max Power 331714S 42 inch Lawn Mower BLADES for AYP/ Poulan? Sears 13149" for $7.49. When I ordered "BLADES" for a 42 inch mower I expected it would be the 2 blades required for the 42 inch mower. This says "BLADES" but you only get a (singular) blade. I have ordered lawn mower blades in the past and when the item says "Blade" I order 2, knowing that I need more than 1. This should be changed to say "Blade" on this item. I will now have to order another "Blades" to get 2 blades needed - this will cost another shipping charge. Other than that the product is what I expected in quality.

Perfect replacement for OEM blades. I'd been spending more than 40% more for original OEM blades, while these do the job better. Very durable, and came very sharp (which OEM blades usually required a bit of sharpening before installation).

They were delivered fast. Initially when I opened the package I thought the blades were dull and I would have to sharpen them, but I installed as is and they cut wonderfully. I will use these guys again when needed.

I paid $20 for a set of blades to include S&H. They were on my doorstep within 5 days, which is very quick for rural ND. Installation was quite simple and busted knuckle free. I drove the mower halfway up ATV ramps attached to the tailgate of my pickup. In less then 10 minutes I was mowing. They cut the grass very nicely and I could mow much faster than before. Nice clean cut! I have 2.5 acres to mow (every 10 days this year) and I am currently conducting a side by side trial with oregon gator mulcher blades on my john deere. We will see if the expensive blades are worth the money. *Update* 13 July 2011. After two mowings, the cheap rotary max blades work just as well if not better than the expensive oregon gator mulcher 3in1 fusion blades. The rotary max seem to cause less damage to the grass. Cost comparison = rotary max $20 with S&H. Oregon gator $40 with free shipping. We will see if the oregon gators last twice as long.
