The product was exactly as advertised and replaced the worn down rubber paddles on my Toro snowblower perfectly at a great price.
Review by Gaby : Perfectly fix our snow thrower
My husband bought this old snow thrower in a fly market and the only thing needed to make it work was the paddle set. We ordered from Amazon and perfectly fix our snow thrower. We used few days ago and was running like a pro.
Review by Dom S. : Snow blower blades
Very good product although not as good as original blades but a good replacement. Would purchase again. Fit very nicely on snowblower and were very easy to install.Price was Ok, mabye a little on the high side. Thank you. DS.
Review by Mustgamble : Great solution for worn paddles
Product worked perfectly to replace worn paddles on a 2002 Murray 21" 4.5HP single stage snow blower. All holes lined up just fine. All you have to do is get thirty 3/4" long X 5/16" bolts with nuts (locking type best) along with some loc-tite. Just drill out the rivets (1/4 drill bit works best) then widen the hole to 5/16" with a 5/16" drill to accomodate the bolts. Put on the paddles and you are good to go. Fast shipping from this company and product was as described and the best price I could find.
Review by Ernest D. Shepherd : PERFECT SOLUTION FOR WORN SNOWBLOWER BLADES!!
GREAT SELLER!!! Highly recommend, the item is perfect and the price is low. The delivery is fast and the packaging is great. You don't get any better than that. This is my second time purchasing replacement blades from here and I highly recommend this company. I couldn't have gotten through those winter storms without these items. Thanks very much!!
Review by Keith Knight : Good value
I have a Craftsman 21 inch and I just purchased a second set. The 21 inch requires some trimming which is better done with a Dremel multitool and cutoff wheel. Tip: Craftsman heavy duty cutoff wheels were also used to cut and grind down the rivets after removing the old rubber so they could be drilled out and replaced with nuts and bolts. A bit of work that helped the machine to work very well.
Review by Arthur Marizzaldi : Noma snowblower replacement paddles.
these replacement paddles now extended the useful life of my snowblower for another 15 years !! they worked out perfect.
Review by Dave : Just what I needed
Ironically, this blade set also fits pretty well on a 22" Craftsman snow thrower (made by Murray, now bought out by Briggs & Stratton). I searched all over for replacement blades for the 22" Craftsman and all I can find is the complete auger assembly for $150 or more. The center paddles are about an inch narrower than the original ones, but I don't think it will be a problem. All the holes lined up perfectly. Again, this review concerns attaching these blades to a Craftsman snow thrower, model 536.881501. I can't comment on their intended application, but I can say this: The Amazon price is way better than any other I found online.
Review by John W. Brady : Worked on a Craftsman
I bought this based on the recommendation from another review, fitting to a Craftsman 22". Worked great. This seller ships quickly, I had it in just a few days! Thank you. Drill out the rivets. I suggest getting 1/2" bolts or maybe 3/16". Don't use the permanent lock-tite. You will need to replace this rubber again at some point.
Review by Bill : Craftsman 22" Snow Blower Paddle set replacement
September 2005 I purchased a Craftsman 22" snowblower. After 4 years with the warranty expired my auger assembly was worn down to the steel frame. I obtained 2 estimates on replacing the auger assembly, both of them were approximately $275.00. I obtained one estimate on replacing the worn out paddle set on the auger which was $275.00. I was frustrated because the snowblower is in good shape. The people who gave me the estimates were (I believe) more interested in selling me a new snowblower than repairing the old one. After a series of searches on the internet I was able to find the paddle set that fit my snowblower. My total cost in obtaining the paddle set and purchasing replacement hardware (s.s. bolts and locking washers) came to about $70.00. I replaced the 1/4" rivets with 1/4" stainless steel bolts and locking washers. I also had to raise the snowblower frame by approximately 3/8" because the frame support was worn. It has not snowed yet however I have fired up the snowblower with the new paddle set, it's working. I was amazed how simple and secure AMAZON.COM was in the purchase. In the future I will definitely use them again.
