Product is just what I needed for my snow thrower. Product can be purchased as 1 or 2 per package. The unit needs 2. The right side wore out faster than the left side. My recommendation is to replace both and save the partialy worn, but still usable one as a spare. It should say MTD Snow Thrower part, not Lawn Mower part.

I used universal skid shoes one year and they don't compare to these. The universal skid shoes never stayed in the spot I needed them to, but these skid shoes are almost identical (originals were red, these a black) to the original factory part. Highly recommend you go with these if you need to replace the skids on your snow thrower.

Arrived on time with no problems. My lack of paying attention to the description caused me to order 1 slide when I thought I was purchasing a pair. My fault.

These black universal shoe slides were a perfect fit for my Troy-Bilt snow thrower. Be advised the manual calls these skid shoes. I ordered a pair even though I only needed one. Great product with a perfect fit.
